Regarding to particular project, BMS can manage less or more than common.

BMS is a system with high security and stability. The system concludes two concurrent operating servers, when a server fails, the other will immediately take place of the failed to ensure the continuous operation. All the data and information will be stored in a period specified by the operator. The system will backup data automatically.

BMS software is the specialized software in controlling and managing high rise building. This soft ware has many functions as the following:

Gathering data:
• Receive all the parameters about the environment, information about equipments’ status, operating status of the connecting system. 
• Store, process the information and keep the information in a long time as management’s requirements. 
Monitoring:
• BMS software supplies graphical display for managing warning and alarm signal. All information about system or equipment error can be viewed on this display. 
• BMS system will export alarm signal via sounder if operator do not focus the monitor.

Managing System:
This function help operator to expand the system whenever additional requirements occur: easy adding more component, monitoring points
Controlling:
• Controlling system via graphic interface. Support equipments’ images or site map. 
• Operator can active and control equipments at “intelligent point” on graphic map to be On – Off – Disable.
• Automatic operation and controlling. Operator executes automatic operation according to time schedule to save energy. Operator can setup for the system to operate to week, month, year schedule automatically. Operator can also access to the system to create, modify or delete schedule.

System security:
• BMS software support many concurrent operator. Operator’s access, monitoring and controlling authorities can be set at different levels for each application and equipments. 
• All operators’ action log shall be stored at detail.

BMS system includes many building controllers for many applications. Module building controller can store all information when the power is off. Module building controller is installed in cabinet and connects to center via LAN 100 Base. Operator can set the program and download to controllers via LAN TCP/IP network.

In case the power is off, or failure in connection to BMS network, module building controller shall store all the data including system parameters and information of temperature, humidity, pressure… in a pre-defined period. This will help the system to operate continuously without losing any data.

Controllers support access by personal computer with appropriate password to be programmed locally. In case of communication failure, the system can be operated by local personal computer.

BMS can integrate with many systems which has different interface since module building controller can add appropriate interface modules (Bacnet, Modbus…) to communicate with other systems.

  - Main and floor distribution cabinets

  - Chiller Pump

• Manage operation of Pressurized Fans

• Collect fire alarm signal form fire alarm panel

• Connect to lift system, manage the status and position of lift

Module building controllers are placed at rooms at each floor, if module building controller controls electrical system, it will be placed at electrical room, if module building controller controls air conditioner system, it will be placed at air conditioner room …

By integration with other systems, BMS brings convenience in controlling and monitoring technical systems of building. BMS helps operators and administrators to not only save operation cost but also increase management capability of all systems.
